Jade & Tom’s Wildflower Wedding is one for the books in so many ways! From her jaw-dropping dress, her stunning bouquet, and the glass chapel, to a party complete with a S’mores bar AND a total monsoon outside!
I’ve known Jade & Tom since about 2014 or 2015. I met them (okay don’t laugh) playing in our local Pokemon League. Hey! I said don’t laugh! Haha! Anyway, They are so sweet and clearly each others’ best friends. They have walked through a lot in the years they have been together. When I found out they were engaged I was secretly hoping they would ask me to shoot their wedding!
Jade & Tom’s day started with smoke in the air from Canadian wild fires, and a bit of humidity. I photographed the details while waiting for the wedding party to arrive from the salon. I love having the time at the beginning of a wedding day to photograph all the details. This helps me set the tone of my creative expression. After an incredible time of staging all the pretty things, we got Jade into her dress and started on all the formal pictures before the ceremony.
The wedding ceremony was short and sweet with lots of family involved. We rolled right into family photos after the ceremony. Once we were done with those photos, we moved on to wedding party and finally bride and groom portraits! We had planned to get even more photos during sunset, however, mother nature had different plans. Right when we were about to go outside, it started DOWN POURING! Thankfully, Jade & Tom are literally the best and when it stopped raining hard, we actually went outside to get a dip kiss in the rain!
You won’t believe the magic we created for their wildflower wedding! Check out my favorites below!
Stay sweet!
