The Ames family was such a blessing to work with! We had so much fun for their sunset family pictures at Anderson Dam exploring this region of Idaho. We also had some of the nicest weather we could have asked for!

I love photographing families that have such a true connection between everyone: love and trust. This is was so evident with the Ames family. You can see the emphasis they put on community and giving as they raise their children. They cracked me up with their jokes and funny faces all to make sure their kids smiled at the camera! Elise is such a sweet mom and she has the SWEETEST kids! As she gave each child a couple of chocolate-covered sunflower seeds if they smiled, she assured me bribery was only reserved for pictures! Haha!

I also really enjoy keeping up with Elise, the mom, on Instagram and seeing her day-to-day life! I can see how easily I captured the feeling of joy and love in their home because it’s the same thing I see on her Instagram.
