The Garvin’s candid family photo session at the dunes was SO much fun! Anna found me on Facebook and I’m glad she did because I had a great time with her and her family!

Anna picked out such cute clothes for her family to wear to their session, too! Though it was hot and SUPER sunny, they were troopers and climbed up a sand dune for me. Anna was even wearing boots! I rewarded them with quite a bit of time in the shade of the sand dune after that. Haha!

The girls were so playful and loved enjoying their time with the sand and their parents. We finished the session with some shots of just mom and dad. This is one of my favorite parts of every family session.

I love ending family sessions with some pictures of mom and dad because MANY of my clients actually tell me the last time they had photos of just them was at their wedding or some other big life event. I feel like having those beautiful photos of you and your spouse helps you feel like MORE than JUST a parent in this phase of life when you may feel consumed by your kids.
