Who says you have to be engaged to get photos done of just you and the love of your life?! Emily and Drake’s couples’ photos was so much fun! They are both incredibly sweet and funny, and I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with them and capturing some sweet, sweet moments!

We met up at Anderson Dam and found some of the MOST DIVINE lighting. During the time of this session, there was a ton of smoke in the sky and for a while I didn’t think we’d see the sun again. But even though it still left the skies smoky, it made for a stunning sunset through the trees!

Drake wasn’t much one for PDA (especially in front of someone he just met!). In fact, he told me they didn’t even kiss in front of their families until their wedding! So making sure he was relaxed was SUPER important to me! Of course it did take a bit of coaching and some of my super lame jokes of course, but he came out of his shell and did SO good!

We laughed and talked through most of the session. I had such a good time with Emily & Drake!
