I had so much fun doing these Bogus Basin Engagement Photos for Rylie & Tucker! Fun fact: Rylie was a bridesmaid, and Tucker the Officiant, in Julia & Alex’s wedding, and Julia was a bridesmaid in Maddie & Travis’ wedding! So we already felt like friends; making their engagement session such a breeze!
Our plan was to park at the Stack Rock Trailhead on the road to Bogus Basin, but since there are only a few parking spots in the winter, we had a backup plan of driving to the top of the mountain and shooting there. Thankfully the trailhead was empty! We hiked through knee-high snow (don’t ask me how I know…lol!) and found the perfect spot to start their engagement photos.
We really lucked out with some incredible weather; it was in the 40s/50s but we still had plenty of snow to work with. They had fun laughing and talking and being themselves. They also NAILED their outfits! We ended the session by including their sweet pup, Winnie, in a few photos. I love when couples bring their dog(s) to their session!
I’m so excited for Rylie & Tucker’s wedding at Sandstone Vineyard this fall! It’s going to be incredible!
