Wedding at The Knitting Factory

Julia & Alex’s Wedding at The Knitting Factory was incredible. Before the big party at the Knitting Factory in Boise, Idaho, they said their vows in front of friends and family at Julia’s parents’ house in Meridian. The views for the ceremony were literally the backyard of the house which was honestly so impressive! The house was stunning inside and out and made the perfect location for their daughter’s wedding.

Getting Ready

The day started with hair and make up while I did detail and getting ready photos. They, of course, supplied me with all the pretty things for the detail shots and after a quick clean up of the house, we got the classic “bride-and-bridesmaids-in-their-PJs” photos! My second shooter went to check on Alex and get some photos of him.

Ceremony

The wedding ceremony was perfect; the lighting, the emotion, the views. It could not have been better! One of my favorite photos of this wedding was when the bridesmaids LOST IT while Alex was saying his vows to Julia. After the ceremony, family photos, wedding party photos, and bride and groom photos, we all traveled to downtown Boise to continue their wedding at The Knitting Factory!

The Party

The concert venue was decorated beautifully for a wedding reception and the food was delicious! Hats off to The Knitting Factory! The wedding party made the grandest of all grand entrances I have seen! Each couple had a surprise entrance to be judged by the bride and groom. With money on the line, the wedding party took this pretty seriously. Once toasts, dances, and cake cutting were out of the way, they partied the rest of the night away and I got some of my favorite reception shots to date.
