Alice & Shane had an Idaho Elopement and barely told ANYONE! These two are dear friends to my husband and I. Jake works with Shane, and Alice and I have become great friends! One day, Alice texted me at 8am and said “Hey what are you doing today? Wanna see me and Shane get married at 3pm?” Of course I jumped at the chance! And I also told her I’d like to bring my camera and capture the moment for them, too. She was grateful; they both were.

So, later in the afternoon I got myself and my gear ready, and when it was time I headed out for their wedding. They had a very sweet service with a judge who gave them lots of words of advice and love, they even teared up a bit. After their vows, their rings, and their kiss, they are officially Mr. and Mrs. Pierce!

We took pictures of their “wedding party” and the happy couple, and no wedding, no matter how small, is complete without some detail shots! With this wedding, I have now shot a wedding on EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK! Monday-Sunday! With this Tuesday wedding, I reached my goal!

After their wedding, they and some friends enjoyed a meal to celebrate! And then 3 weeks later, I shot their engagement session! Haha! This was the first time I have photographed a wedding for a couple before their engagement photos, but I love how each couples’ story is unique to them.
