This Sunset Session at Anderson Dam with the Kuck family was literally perfect! Their outfits, the weather, their smiles, the laughter; all of it!

Jill and her husband are both Active Duty in the United States Air Force. Jill actually works in the same squadron as my husband!

I photographed Jill’s husband’s Military Homecoming, and shortly after that, she booked me for their family photos. Jill literally found the cutest outfits for all the girls at WALMART of all places, and while these were taken in the summer, they almost look like fall pictures because of their outfits and the location!

We had such perfect, even light at Anderson Dam for their (overcast) sunset session. I love not worrying about harsh shadows and bright spots.

I had a great time talking to each girl, hearing about what they like to do, how they are mosquito magnets (cause same), things that make them laugh. We loved exploring the area and finding perfect spots for pictures. Toward the end of the session, I suggested we drive back up out of the valley and stop for some overlook pictures with just mom and dad.
